Chrissy Simms is an illustrator and designer based in Aberdeen, Scotland

Working in a bold, playful style that leans into colour, warmth, and optimism, her work spans editorial illustration, publishing, and beverage advertising. She is most at home with projects that call for vibrant colour, a bit of personality, and a dose of joy.

After graduating from Gray's School of Art in 2024 with a BA (Hons) in Communication Design, she returned as Graduate in Residence, spending time working closely with illustration students — critiquing work, building community, and nurturing the kind of environment where creative confidence grows. She left the residency to join Aberdeen agency Imajica Brand Evolution as a Designer, where she works across branding, print, and digital.

Her honours project at Gray’s was recognised with an Award of Commendation from Think PR and she has been featured in independent publication Bits Magazine. Recent commissions include the cover of The Drum Suite Jams, a self-published music education book.
